What we expect
- Be professional and respectful, as you would be in person at the event.
- Use your real identity — your own name and photo.
- Ask before sharing someone's details, such as their phone number or email address.
- Keep meeting requests relevant to the event and to the person you're asking.
What's not allowed
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. We remove such content and the people who post it. That includes:
- harassment, bullying and threats;
- hate speech, and content that attacks people for who they are;
- sexual content;
- spam and scams;
- impersonating someone else;
- illegal content;
- sharing other people's personal data without their permission;
- off-topic selling, and unsolicited bulk messages.
Words that aren't allowed are refused when you post.
How to report and block
- Report a message, a person's profile, a photo or a meeting request from its menu. The person you report isn't told who reported them.
- Block someone from their profile. Blocking works across all of Confispace: they can no longer message you or send you meeting requests in any event, and you won't see each other in attendee lists.
What happens after a report
- Every report is reviewed and acted on within 24 hours.
- A message reported by two people is hidden until it has been reviewed. A person reported by several people in one day is muted until a moderator decides.
- Moderators — the organizer's team and Confispace — can remove content, and mute, remove or ban the person.
- Repeated or serious cases mean a ban from all of Confispace.
How organizers keep events safe
- Confispace reviews every event before it goes live.
- In events where attendees aren't verified, chats, meeting requests, the attendee list and photos stay off, and organizers moderate questions before they reach the screen.
